Last month in Liverpool: The Daydream Club explained us how they achieved success with playlists

Wednesday 4th October for our workshop in Liverpool UK, Adam and Paula Pickering from the band The Daydream Club and Mark Knight (their manager) explained how they achieved success with playlists.
“We noticed our numbers were rising organically with just a couple of playlists that had picked up on us so we decided to move our focus away from gigs and traditional forms of music promotion and instead direct our efforts purely towards Spotify and our fans. We’re still on other platforms but all of our links and promotion material direct you to Spotify. This approach has contributed to us being able to make a sustained living from music.”
